Anand Sharma

Born in Darjeeling, the so called “Queen of the hills”, Anand has always been fascinated with mountains and nature. After acquiring his educational necessities, he moved to Nepal to work in the Tourism industry.

Anand has worked as a guide on and off for 15 years and has extensively traveled in Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan. He has worked with some of the world’s renowned international outdoor companies, prior to joining Hi On Life Adventures. He has been working with us for the last 4 years and has an excellent rapport with our clients. He has great knowledge concerning the local traditions and culture, as well as mountains and medicines. In addition, Anand has traveled, lived and worked in the United Kingdom and Ireland for 5 years.

Rinji Sherpa

Rinji comes from a village called Tashi Gaun in Makalu region. He is known for his patience and physical strength in the mountains. He was one of the Climbing Sherpas when we had the first Swede ever to summit Mt. Putha Hiunchuli (7247 m).

Currently, he lives in Kathmandu with his wife and a son and a daughter.

His climbing record:

Mt. Everest (8848 m)- 12 times
Mt. Cho Oyu (8201 m)- 2 times
Mt. Makalu (8467 m)- 1 time
Mt. Putha Hiunchuli (7247m)- 1 time
Mt. Amadablam (6856 m)- 2 times
Mt. K2- he reached 8000 m + 2 times, but they had to turn around due to bad weather.

Mr Mingma Chiri Sherpa (Climbing Guide)– IVBV- UIAGM – IFMGA Certified Aspirant guide

Mingma is from a small village in Rolwaling, west of the Everest Region. He is a young and enthusiastic climber with a dream to achieve the best education possible in mountaineering. He is currently living in Kathmandu and perusing his goal to be a certified International Mountain Guide. At only 26 yrs old, he has climbed some of the most respected mountains in the climbing community.
